Fumble with life

This kid at work told me that he was going to take me out for Sweetest Day.  I said alright, pick me up in the parking lot after my shift…. joking around, of course, and we both knew it.  
So today I go into work and I convinced him, with tears in my eyes, that I waited in the parking lot for him until 4 am, until the cops came and took me to Wendy’s because they felt bad that I got stood up on Sweetest Day.  

I’m awesome sometimes.
